Effective Date: April 2026. This policy governs the use of Kinetix Speedometer and how it handles your GPS and telemetry data.
1. GPS and Location Data
Kinetix Speedometer requires access to your device's GPS and high-accuracy location services to calculate your real-time speed, distance traveled, and trip analytics. This data is processed entirely on your device.
- We do not store your location history on our servers.
- Location data is never sold or shared with third-party advertising networks.
- Background location access is used only if you explicitly enable it for continuous trip tracking.
2. HUD Mode and Display
The HUD (Head-Up Display) feature mirrors your screen output. No images or video of your device display are captured or transmitted by the application.
3. Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use anonymized telemetry to improve app performance. This includes crash logs and device hardware details (e.g., OS version, sensor types). No personally identifiable information (PII) is attached to these reports.
4. Your Rights
You can revoke GPS permissions at any time through your device settings, which will limit the app's functionality to offline features. You have the right to request information about any anonymized data logs we may hold.
